| ancient before the Japanesse don't have their own letter so after some collage student went to china, The Japanesse thought they wiil take china's letter and addapt in their letter. But because in Kanji's lots of hard letter to read therefore they invented kana. first the ladies wrote hiaragana as to help them to read kanji and later the mens don't want to loose with the womens so they created a katakana. that way The Japanesse have their own letter hiragana and katakata. these days katakana is being used to write words outside Japanesse words as in English or other language. most of it to write names. | ||||||||||||||||||||||
